Have you gotten your card yet? If you haven't, be on the look out! H.R.E. students have been furiously making personalized cards with important links to what we're up to with our fundraising efforts in building a well.
Ask any student in the following classes: Mrs. Fisher (1st), Miss Harling (2nd), Miss Hickman (3rd), and Mrs. Lee (4th).
You might see the "Water Guy" on one of our personalized cards!!

Designing A Water Filter
This is a picture of a water filter a team of four students in first through fourth grade created. They spent three weeks designing, planning, and then building a filter that would purify water using only three materials. As you can see the water is quite muddy that is in the cup. This was a first attempt. :) Each week they would go over the design they had initially created and make adjustments. This filter consisted of rocks, sand, and a coffee filter.
